At the agreed time, we’ll come and collect you from your hotel and set off on an experience where the magic of the lights illuminating the Australian Outback will remain etched in your memory forever. Are you ready to visit Field of Light? We promise you the early start will be well worth it!
We’ll travel in complete darkness, before the sun has risen, until we reach Field of Light, a large-scale art installation created by Bruce Munro that has become one of the most famous experiences in the Australian Outback.
After a short journey, we’ll arrive at the site of Field of Light, in a remote and protected area that can only be accessed with a prior booking. Places are very limited! This makes the experience here all the more special, as you’ll be treated to a colourful landscape in the middle of the desert that you’ll fall completely in love with.
Field of Light consists of 50,000 solar-powered light spheres, illuminating the sacred monolith of Uluru in a unique way. Once there, we’ll walk through the different sections of this field of lights, making our way to the top of a sand dune.
We’ll also climb up to a viewing point to watch the sunrise. The sight of the first rays of the sun illuminating Kata Tjuta and Uluru will be unforgettable. To round off this experience, we’ll enjoy a coffee or tea with biscuits at the viewing point.
Finally, we’ll get back on the minibus and head back to your hotel, where we’ll say our goodbyes 2 hours later.
