Located in Lowry Park Central, ZooTampa is a place brimming with wildlife from around the world.
Opened in 1930 with a small number of raccoons, alligators, and an aviary, the zoo has continued to grow and welcome many more families of animals.
During your visit to ZooTampa, you'll see animals from Asia, such as Indian rhinoceroses, Malayan tigers, and warthogs. You'll also find specimens of African fauna such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, and okapis. And, of course, the zoo is home to animals that are very common in Florida, from river otters to American bald eagles - you'll travel the world!
Moreover, ZooTampa has different attractions for the little ones. From carousels to tiger trains and even flying bananas, you'll be having a blast with your family!
