Be seduced by the futurism and the innovative technology in Singapore's ArtScience Museum. You'll enter the most iconic building in the city to enjoy a different kind of day.
Why Visit the ArtScience Museum in Singapore?
In the Singapore Art and Science Museum, you'll discover the largest technology center in the city, offering permanent exhibitions, temporary displays, and dozens of interactive activities for all tastes.
As you explore this iconic building in the shape of a lotus flower, you'll discover the influence art and science have had on society today. Over its 6,458 ft² (6,000 m), you'll find pieces of contemporary art from all over the world, as well as educational programs to learn more about the planet.
During your visit, you'll have access to teamLab Future World, a permanent exhibition created by the Japanese collective teamLab, an international leader in immersive digital art. Here, you'll find interactive installations where images react to your movements and gestures. Amazing!
You'll also see 16 digital installations that combine sensors, projections, LED lighting, and surround sound. One of the highlights is the world's first light sculpture using paper airplanes, where you can launch your own plane and watch it transform into a luminous choreography. You'll also dive into Crystal Universe, a space of infinite crystals that responds to touch and movement.
Plus, you'll explore installations such as Continuous Life and Death, a digital garden that will bloom and wither in real time; Flow Reaches Far, where collective movements will generate rotating patterns; and Waterfall Droplets, an installation that plays with illusions of moving water. And, if you feel like unleashing your creative side, in Sketch Umwelt World, your drawings will come to life on a giant screen. Welcome to the art of the future!
