Description
After picking you up at your hotels in Santiago de Chile at 7:30 am, we'll set off west on our trip to Tricao Park. The journey, which takes about an hour and a half, will be made by car, minibus or bus, depending on the size of the group.
Once we reach our destination, we'll take a guided tour of Tricao Park and visit its fabulous aviary, one of the largest in the world. For the following 2 hours, we'll stroll along the paths and bridges of the enclosure and spot various exotic species of these wonderful winged creatures. We'll also visit the Giverny Wetland, inspired by the French gardens famously immortalized in the paintings of impressionist painter Claude Monet.
We'll climb back on the bus and drive to the pretty town of Pomaire. There we'll make a stop so that you can have free time to have something to eat in the way you want. Later, we'll meet back up to take a wonderful walking tour around this settlement which is famous for its tradition of artisan pottery.
