Tour Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Santiago and head to the Chilean Pacific coast. Ready for an adventure?
After a pleasant 1.5-hour drive, we'll arrive at Isla Negra, a cozy coastal town south of El Quisco. Upon arrival, we'll marvel at the scenery of the dark-colored rocks in the area. Its name refers to its peculiar environment, but it also hides a beautiful story related to the poet Pablo Neruda, which we'll learn about during the tour!
Once we've admired its beauty, we'll visit the House of Isla Negra, a house museum that belonged to Pablo Neruda and his wife Matilde. To enter this residence is to step into the daily life of this master of letters and verses, a real privilege!
Following a magical visit, we'll head to a local restaurant to enjoy a two-course lunch. With newfound energy, we'll start our trip to Pomaire, the so-called city of clay. What gives it its name? We'll find out as we explore its pottery workshops.
Next up, we'll visit the prestigious Viña Undurraga, one of the oldest and most famous wineries in Chile, where we'll take a guided tour to learn all about the process of making Chilean wine. The best part? We'll toast with a glass of wine while chatting about the area's wine history. Cheers!
Then, we'll drive back to your hotel, where we'll say goodbye after a 10-hour trip.
