Cejar, Tebinquinche & Ojos de Salar Tour
We'll meet at the indicated time in San Pedro de Atacama and set off southbound to the Cejar Lagoon.
When you step off the bus, you'll be greeted by the sight of the magnificent Cejar Lagoon, a striking salt lake composed of rainwater. This lake is located in the middle of the Atacama salt flats, a huge expanse of arid land rich in salt minerals and surrounded by giant Andean peaks. If you like, you can even take a dip and see how you magically stay afloat, as these waters have a greater concentration of salt than the Dead Sea.
Our tour will then continue to the Ojos del Salar. These twin sinkholes seem like an oasis in the heart of the Atacama desert. You'll be able to admire the surrounding landscape and the intense, deep blue colour of the pools as you swim in their deep waters.
The last stage of our trip takes us to the Tebinquinche lagoon. This enormous body of shallow water stretches out over the Atacama salt flats, creating a scene of staggering beauty. You'll be able to relax and have a snack next to the water as you take in the landscapes of Tebinquinche cast in the red tones of sunset and framed by the Andean mountains.
Afterward, we'll start our return journey to San Pedro de Atacama, where we'll leave you in the center of the town, 4 to 5 hours after departure.
