You'll enter the Tower of London, where you'll meet your own Beefeater guard. Our guard guide will explain the story and traditions of this elite guard and will be available to take pictures and answer questions.
As you explore this historic site, which has been used as both a palace and a prison, you'll learn all about its past. In addition, you'll get the chance to visit the spectacular Crown Jewels, which have been held here for the last 600 years.
Did you know that the Tower of London is the execution site of three Queens of England? Poor Anne Boleyn, Catherine Howard and Lady Jane Grey all breathed their last breaths here. You can also explore the famous White Tower, a medieval keep where the ‘Princes in the Tower’ were held and allegedly murdered by their Uncle Richard III so he could become king.
After the official tour, lasting 1 hour 15 minutes, you can stay at the Tower to continue exploring at your leisure for as long as you like!
