Are you ready to discover one of Queensland's best-kept secrets? We'll meet at 10.45 am at Reef Fleet Terminal. There, we'll board a ferry that will take us southeast to Fitzroy Island, just a few miles from Cairns.
Once there, you'll have 2 hours to explore the island at your leisure. You'll be able to walk along its beautiful beaches of virgin sand, take a refreshing swim in the Tasmanian Sea, and discover its tropical jungle—the choice is yours!
At 2 pm, you must return to the Fitzroy ferry terminal, where we'll board the boat again to return to Cairns.
If two hours in this paradise is not enough for you, you can book this full-day tour. In this case, you should arrive at the Reef Fleet Terminal at 8:30 am.
After 45 minutes of sailing, we'll arrive at Fitzroy Island, where we'll enjoy a pleasant 45-minute glass-bottom boat trip. Prepare to see some of the island's best coral reefs, as well as sea turtles and multicoloured fish!
Then, you'll have about 5 hours of free time to discover the most special corners of this place. This is also a perfect opportunity to rent a kayak or simply enjoy a day in the sun.
At 4 pm you must return to the ferry terminal to board your boat back to your starting point in Cairns.
