The beaches are one of the main attractions of this city in northern Portugal. Would you like to see the most famous ones? If so, we'll meet at the indicated time at Rua de João Mendoça, where we'll board a minibus that will take us to discover them. Let's go!
Our first beach will be Praia da Costa Nova do Prado, one of the most popular sights in Aveiro thanks to its colourful coquette-style houses. If we add this to the extensive beach bathed by the Atlantic and the fine sand, it becomes one of the great favourites for all those who spend the summer in Aveiro.
From here, we'll head for our second beach, Praia da Barra. This gorgeous beach is presided over by a red and white lighthouse that is the undisputed symbol of the area. You'll also be struck by the tranquillity of the waters at this beach, and you'll love the walk along its wooden walkways!
Our beach tour will also take us to the salt mines, the University and the Maritime Port, getting to know the history of the region and the stories and legends of the coast of Aveiro.
After 75 minutes of sightseeing, we'll return to the starting point and end the tour. See you next time!
