If you love the ocean and exploring underwater life, we've got the perfect activity for you! On our Whitsunday Islands & Hook Island Day Trip, we'll set sail aboard a speedboat and admire the incredible scenery. We'll also go snorkelling in two fantastic spots.
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point in Airlie Beach. From there, you'll be taken to the Coral Sea Marina, where you'll board a boat to begin exploring the Whitsunday Islands National Park. During the day trip, we'll enjoy paradisiacal beaches and admire the beauty hidden in the seabed of this Australian archipelago.
To begin, we'll head to Hook Island in the northern part of the Whitsundays. We'll speed up and slow down plenty of times on our boat to make this cruise around the island as adrenaline-packed as possible.
Next, we'll take you to two different snorkelling spots on Hook Island, such as Mantaray Bay and Maureen's Cove. Due to the proximity of this island to the Great Barrier Reef, the underwater wildlife here is truly amazing. You'll be able to swim with turtles, see colourful fish and admire different types of coral reefs.
We'll then head to Whitsunday Island, the largest island in the archipelago. Here, we'll take a stroll to the Hill Inlet lookout point to gaze out at the incredible scenery in the north of the island and the crystal-clear water surrounding it. Afterwards, you can take a dip and relax on the fine white sand of Whitehaven Beach. Plus, you can recharge your energy with a picnic lunch.
Finally, after lunch, we'll return to the boat to go back to the departure dock. From there, we'll take you back to the pickup point, where we'll conclude this 6.5-hour trip.
Upon booking, you'll be shown a drop-down menu with different pickup points in Airlie Beach. After picking you up at these points at the indicated time, we'll take you to the Coral Sea Marina, from where we'll set sail.
