Heavenly beaches, breathtaking underwater life, and turquoise waters are the highlights of this excursion to Whitsunday Island. We'll travel to this National Park to relax, and admire all its beauty and we'll even be able to snorkel.
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Airlie Beach and board a boat that will take us to the largest of the Whitsunday Islands. Are you ready to get to know one of the most beautiful beaches in the world? We sure are!
We'll arrive at Whitsunday Island and visit Whitehaven Beach, a white sandy bay 7 kilometers (4 miles) long that has become an icon of this archipelago. We'll leave you two hours free to take a dip or to relax by sunbathing on this beach or enjoying a picnic lunch, to be paid on the day of the activity.
Next, we'll take a short hike that will take us to the Hill Inlet viewpoint. You'll be able to admire the vegetation of Whitsunday Island and see how the beaches change according to the tides and winds.
Afterward, we'll return to the boat determined to snorkel. Depending on the day and weather conditions, we'll take you to a different spot so that you can admire the underwater world in complete safety. The Border or Dumbell Islands or the area around Whitsunday itself are always good options.
You'll be able to swim among colorful coral reefs watching the fish and turtles that live among them. And, what's more, thanks to the guide's explanations you'll learn to identify many of the species you'll see during the dives.
Lastly, we'll end the excursion at 4:30 pm, dropping you off at the starting point.
This tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off. However, you can choose to go to the meeting point on your own. In this case, we'll meet at Coral Sea Marina.
